What is soona UGC and what does it have to do with Trend? 

soona acquired Trend in 2023. Since our acquisition, we have been running both our platforms independently. Until now. Our vision from the beginning was to put all your content needs in one place.

Everything that made Trend great for brands is now inside soona. (With some awesome new upgrades.) Book creators, plan your content and scale your creative as your brand grows in one seamless platform.

Should I use Trend or soona UGC right now?

We suggest you discuss that with an expert on your team. It will depend on if you have started using UGC before and the scale of your project. You can talk to an expert here. 

What is going to happen to my Trend campaign?

Trend accounts and campaigns will be supported through the end of 2026. So no need to worry. You will have plenty of time to work on campaigns that are already in progress or that you are planning to launch in the coming weeks. We also encourage you to use all your Trend credits on Trend in order to ease your transition. 

What will happen to my Trend credit balance?

We are asking customers to complete their existing campaigns, or any planned campaigns, on Trend through June 2026. Beginning July 1, 2026, we will transition any remaining credits at the request of the client. This process may take up to 72 hours to complete. 

Any remaining credits will transfer over at full value. No reduction, no expiration tied to the migration, and they’re redeemable for the same UGC products on the soona platform.

What is the same about soona UGC as Trend?

We have taken all our favorite parts and moved them over. We are transitioning our best creators from the platform and have retained the simple campaign style hiring model, which allows you to create a new campaign and have creators apply to work with you.

Our unlimited usage rights are also going to be supported on soona UGC.

What is different about soona UGC from Trend?

There are many differences, but these are the 3 that we think are the most important: 

1. soona UGC is much more transparent: We have gotten rid of complex levels, credit based pricing and added more information about creators such as their demographic data to ensure you can find the right creators for your products. Additionally, your campaigns will have much more clarity about due dates, shipping and next steps.
2. We now support batch hiring and recurring campaigns: Instead of every project functioning as a one time project, you can now build out projects for many weeks or months.
3. Search and hire creators directly: For the first time, you will also be able to search for creators based on your demographics, location or other needs and put together a campaign request just for them. 

Is the price the same?

soona UGC starts at $89 per video. We are sunsetting the complex credit system as part of this transition.  

Will my Trend account be automatically migrated to soona UGC?

No. You will need to request a transition of your account. We will manually transition requested accounts in 72 hours from your request.

How long will my content be available on Trend?

We will support content on Trend accounts through the end of 2026.
