GOOGLE DRIVE INTEGRATION GUIDE

OVERVIEW

Our latest update introduces seamless Google Drive integration, allowing users to send assets directly to their personal Google Drive (My Drive folder) without additional steps. This integration is user-specific, meaning each user must individually connect their Google Drive account to utilize this feature.

INTEGRATION FEATURES

  • User-Level Integration: Each user connects their personal Google Drive, ensuring privacy and control over their uploads.
  • Direct Uploads: Assets can be sent directly to your My Drive folder, eliminating the need for manual downloads and uploads.
  • Resolution Options: Choose from web, high-resolution, or RAW formats for your uploads.
  • Custom File Naming: Add personalized file names for better organization.

HOW TO CONNECT YOUR GOOGLE DRIVE

  1. Access the Integrations Tab: Navigate to the new integrations section in your account settings.
  2. Connect Your Account: Follow the prompts to link your Google Drive account.
  3. Select Assets: Choose multiple assets from the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system or a reservation gallery.
  4. Send to Google Drive: Use the action bar to select "Send to Google Drive," choose your desired resolution, and add a custom file name if needed.

Uploaded files will appear in the following path within your Google Drive:

My Drive/soonaPublisher/RAW/filename.cr2

FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS

Currently, uploading to shared drives is under review. We are working on completing the necessary processes to enable this feature in the future.
