Trend Brand Guidelines

Trend handles the heavy lifting of creator management for you — including direct communication with creators, all within the platform.

Be fair to creators

Creators work hard to produce content that meets your brand's expectations. To set them up for success, fill out your campaign brief thoroughly, include style guides, and communicate with your creator throughout the campaign. Keep in mind that requesting revisions for requirements that were not included in the original brief is unfair to creators. Please use your revision allowance responsibly and respect creators' time and effort.

Prohibited content

  • Attempting to communicate with creators outside of the Trend platform (e.g., via email, Instagram, or any other channel). This will result in a fine and removal of your account.

  • Negotiating with creators regarding pricing or licensing. All rates and licensing terms are managed through Trend.

  • Requesting that content be submitted via shared drive, email, or Dropbox. All content is available for download in the Approvals & Gallery > Completed tab. Requesting content to be sent via email or any other means will result in a fine and ban.

  • Requesting more revisions than your plan allows. If you have used your allotted revision(s) and the creator did not follow the campaign guidelines, please contact our support team — we'll help you determine the next steps.

  • Profanity, threats or any rude behavior towards our creators is not accepted in any way.

  • Asking for a creator's personal information or financial details, or requesting that they purchase or sign up for any product or service, is strictly prohibited.

    Note: Violations of these policies may result in account suspension or permanent removal from Trend. If you have questions about what is or isn't permitted, contact our support team before proceeding.
