Reviewing and approving content

Reviewing and approving content - here comes the fun part!

You've done all the work to create a campaign, activated creators, and shipped out products - great work! Now comes the fun part where creators get to work making beautiful content for you.

Our creators have a 7 day window from when they receive products (a reference to Download shipping info and auto-assigning due dates article) to when they need to upload their content to the Trend app.

There are two types of campaigns, both campaign types have the same approval process.

Photo or Video Campaign approvals:

  1. The creator will upload the content to the Trend app from their side.

  2. You will be notified via email, and browser notifications if enabled, that a creator's content is ready for review.

  3. You have 96 hours (4 days) from when the content is uploaded by the creator to review and approve.

    1. NOTE: Any content that hits the 96-hour mark will be 'auto-approved' by the Trend Software.

  4. Once approved, the creator is paid out and you now have licensing rights to the content.

The email associated with the Trend account will receive an email notification & browser notification if enabled when content has been submitted for approval.

On the desktop, you will be able to review submitted content in the Approvals & Gallery tab.

Rejection of content is reserved if the creator clearly didn't follow something in the campaign brief. For example: If you stated clearly in the campaign guidelines on the summary tab that they needed to be outdoors, and they're in their living room, that's grounds for rejection.

Building clear and descriptive brief is a great way to ensure quality content is produced (see Campaign Templates).

A key point to keep in mind is you are working with a creative type. You hired them to add their flare and add their creativity, we don't recommend trying to control that. Let the creator be themselves and let the authenticity breathe.
