Why am I no longer receiving creator applications?

Each campaign has built-in momentum. Learn to channel that momentum for each campaign on Trend.

Summary: You receive a majority of the applications for your campaign in the first 5 days of it being live. Trend boosts the campaigns that are most recently created. Interested in getting new applications? Build a new campaign and get applications instantly. 😄

Why have my applications slowed down?

You've activated creators on your first campaign and received some rockstar content! You're even already putting it to use in your paid ads, website, and more!

You're also ready to activate another cohort of creators. BUT, now the applications have dramatically slowed down, maybe even come to a stop. What happened??

It's the perfect question to understand how Trend works. First, let's break down what a campaign is:

Each campaign has its own finite timeline, typically, 3-4 weeks (sometimes 2 if you're really efficient!):

  • Week 1 is when most of the applications will roll in for a campaign. It's when the most amount of creators will see it. We boost the most recently created campaigns for the network to see.

  • Week 2 is generally shipping the product and waiting for it to be delivered. The ball is in your court here, so the sooner you ship, the faster the timeline. No need to rush it thought! Feel free to check in with the creator before sending the product.

  • Week 3 - 4 is waiting for the content to roll in. A few factors play in here, including, how fast you shipped products, if your product needs to be used before posting, and the bandwidth of the creator. Creators are required to post 7-12 days from when they receive the product.

How do I avoid applications slowing down?

On Trend, to get new applications, you need to create a new campaign. To avoid applications coming to a stop, we suggest setting up a campaign cadence!

Trend Tip: Expect most of your applications to come in over the first 5 days.

What is a campaign cadence?

This is how often you create a campaign. This can be weekly, monthly, or a couple a month. Campaigns should be tailored to your brand requirements. The question you need to answer is, "how much content do I need to avoid ad fatigue?"

Do you want a steady stream of lifestyle digital, repurposable assets? You're likely going to want to set up a campaign monthly (at a minimum).

Are you lacking in some user-generated content for a particular sku? Time to fire up a new Trend campaign to build up some social proof.

Mix in some other campaign types to receive different types of content. How are you doing on video testimonials, unboxings, or product shots? All of these types of assets can be produced for you on Trend.

What suggestions do you have for a new campaign?

You have options to allow flexibility to your unique situation. You could:

  • Duplicate your campaign by copying out the information from the previous campaign into the new one (need help? contact support and we'll handle this for you).

  • Duplicate your campaign but make a few changes/updates. Maybe you want to have a campaign for a different product or sku item.

  • Check out our Trend Templates for inspiration on different types of campaigns.

Conclusion

Having a campaign cadence on Trend is the perfect way to have a steady stream of applications on Trend! More applications = more content for you to GROW your brand.😄

Creating new campaigns is what keeps the applications flowing. It allows you to work with creators you passed on in previous campaigns and allows you to work with creators you want to work with again.
